Mossley Light Festival

After a relatively quiet summer events wise, the offers are coming in thick and fast. On top of the recent DJ bookings  I also have been asked to take part in Mossley Light Festival on the 24th November.

We will be building showpieces for the lantern parade and using appropriate tech to illuminate them. There will also be site specific installations. The overarching theme will be 'transformation' and we will be incorporating this into the costumes made for the summer's Tempest  performances that were a big success in Liverpool and Manchester. The crafty brew club with whom I am working are making caterpillars, chrysalis and butterflies.

The addition of LED lights as well as using UV paint and glitter are just some of the ideas being explored. The result will certainly bring some colour to an otherwise drab winter evening in this historical mill town. Let's hope the weather is kind to us this year!!!
